We were excited when Peaksview wanted to redesign the core graphic. They planned to use it in their advertising, shirts, bags, and more.
When we began, I (Danielle) took note of their past designs as well as their event decorations. I wanted to capture the essence of their event — which is playful and fresh. The client and I generated mood boards and collaborated on the direction.
Then, I developed several sketches around the core concept. They all included the disco ball as well as Christmas elements.
When the client selected their favorite, I developed several versions of the design. All of these kept to their core colors and identity.
We settled on a final version and I handed off the finished artwork. I also created a quick branding “cheat sheet”. This allowed them to quickly grab the fonts, colors, and design elements. That way any other promotions (like social media graphics) could coordinate with the main graphic element.
